What a FUN and interesting plant! Seemed this one carried on the paparazzi mentality of its award-winning father ("Shutterbug", Owen '10)! Large blooms sit atop very well-branched scapes on this not-so-sublime garden flasher, with great rebloom that prolongs the wonderful show of this "unusual form" (crispate/quilled) showgirl into the "late" season (see scape photo, where you can actually see that it's goin' on when nothing else really is). Great for exhibition... as scapes are sturdy, tall, and splendidly branched.  This plant makes small fans, yet increases well.

Patterning on this one is extremely entertaining to watch. Always has an "echo" to it (with good repeat on the sepals), but nearly all blooms have splattering in the eye as well... varies with every bloom, and there's LOTS of those to ponder with this one! The strength of rebloom is treasured here, when it is generally still loaded with just that into Fall. Quite fertile, and showing great patterned UF/quilled kids!
