Description:

This flower has been simply mesmerizing here... wasn't sure if folks would truly appreciate it or not (at a quick glance of the mugshot, it might be passed over), but it's of the most "articulate" I've seen in my garden beds - SO CLASSY!!! All aspects are perfectly proportioned, with eye-piercing solid deep green throat and super-fine double wire edge adding a LOT to its downright "hyperactive" habit. The real deciding factor to introducing this formal guy was the VERY rapid rebloom... second scapes are so fast, that it's nearly a fully simultaneous ordeal. See for yourself... in the scape shot, a fan's first scape is on the left - immediate rebloom from same fan on right. Here in z7, I'll get a third set of scapes without fail... tremendous value in ANY garden!  As a direct result, this plant increases well.

I must say that now this plant has been out for a few years, the reviews I've had back are nothing short of "STUNNED!"! Not many people got it from the website, so it's surprised me to hear that it's been the "#1 HIT!" of three different Master Gardener (MG) groups I've gotten mixed up with here locally (and frequent the farm here). Indeed, once folks see what this plant does in a REAL garden... they're SOLD!  "Daylily people" can be too picky for their own good sometimes, often missing out on great garden performers like this... it's SO GOOD for my heart that folks come to the farm, recognize "garden value" when they see it, and clean me out of this plant every year during "Open Garden" time!
