Indeed, this plant can NOT be coy about its "condition"! FAT, rounded (petals to 3.5" wide), and incredibly sturdy flowers are fantastically resilient to both high heat and hard downpours.  VERY deep yellow blooms have a sincerely striking dark eye, and ride on baseball-bat scapes that arise from a VORACIOUS dormant plant... which is invariably made up of some of the widest and darkest green foliage on the farm! I've had rave reviews of this one in the far north since introducing it, with full rebloom even in the tundra!

Proven Peak Performance in USDA zones: 3b-8a
