What a BRIGHT and CHEERFUL gal this one is! I just love the way "lemon yellow" can glow in a garden, especially when it's so extreme that there's a hint of green to be found. Flower self is actually a yellow-pink blend, but the edge is a gummy and vibrant NEON green-lemon yellow. This over-the-top flower producer has huge sprays of these fun-lovers all over its fantastic (and tall) scapes! Branches are not only numerous, but bifurcate as well... meaning that each branch, branches! Oh my... ! "The most prolific rebloomer in my entire collection of 20K+ daylilies!", says a North Dakota customer.

This flower is named for my Grand Niece, Alexis... who has the most outgoing personality you could EVER hope to encounter! In my photo of the girls... that's her on the right (and that's the one and only Little Miss Lucy on the left!). I love this photo, because it really captures "who she is". Lucy was a little down that day, and it was little Miss Alexis who was first to offer help with cheer and understanding... such a little ambassador of good feelings she is! Well... can you see the reason I wanted to name this particular plant for her now? She'll bring joy to ANYONE who knows her! ;-)
