Not long after arriving here in Polkville, I met a hard-workin' family gal... named Sandy Brown.  She had a great working knowledge of plants, was quite luckily available to help me get the nursery running at least part time, so here to some slightly different acres she came!  In the months and years that followed, Sandy worked plenty of hours together here in the fields... though it really only took a few weeks to figure out, that this Sandy chick was really quite deeply amazing.  When in her early 20's, she got married and had three kids... pretty much in a row.  When the youngest was only a year, her useless husband disappeared on her.  Not a terribly unusual story, unfortunately... but what is unusual, is the fact that in spite of a VERY long list of setbacks, her kids are now all not only college graduates... but have the incredible character and values that Sandy exudes!  A laugh that could stop traffic, and a jovial nature that is the epicenter to any party... this gal is the hardest workin', most sincere, and just plain best gal one could ever hope to meet.  I admire and love you dearly Sandy... as all who get to know you inevitably do too.

Complex, irrefutably tough, and pretty as can be... it's an honor for me to share a little of what Sandy has helped me build, with other true gardeners... far and wide.
