I just can't get enough of this plant!

At the time I first saw this one bloom, the complexity of it wasn't common in daylilies... and what ones were as "loaded" with features, were really tender plants. This one wasn't as bold as it could have been, but I actually LOVE that about it! The softness of the wide triple edge of light purple, smokey lavender, and gold are stunning... and the green throat just makes it appear even more "fresh". The plant habit itself is incredibly bold though... wide, healthy leaves on large fans make this truly a "specimen" daylily in the garden!

For those of you that know me, you know I'm really close to my Mom. She's a wild child (to say the least!), but truth is, she's a softie at heart. I could never come up with enough daylilies to tribute to her (for all she's been and done for me), but I've certainly never regretted dedicating THIS particular one (still an ALL-time favorite) to her.
